1. To operate the Cooperative as a non-profit enterprise in strict accordance with its corporate documents and other legal and contractual requirements.
2. To assure the constant availability of high quality central station service by developing , operating and maintaining the system at optimum electrical and physical performance while holding investment at reasonable levels.
3. To keep the member-owners informed on the affairs and methods of the Cooperative and to provide every reasonable means through which their opinions can be expressed, and when appropriate, their requests can be acted upon.
4. To develop among members, through democratic processes, a recognition of member- ownership and accountability which will encourage participation and support of the Cooperative.
5. To enhance the Cooperative's reputation in ethics, prompt and efficient service, dependability, integrity, courtesy, technical competence, and productive ability.
6. To strive constantly for ever higher standards of service through progressive management, utilization of new equipment and techniques and improved methods of operation.
7. To stimulate and support rural area development programs, especially those which will increase and stabilize the economic level of the Cooperative's service area by adding value to our raw materials and products, by providing job opportunities, and by furnishing any necessary goods and services that are not presently available in our general area.
8. To provide the means whereby the member-owners can build and maintain the Cooperative by contributing a reasonable amount of the essential capital.
WITH EMPLOYEES
1. To recognize that our greatest assets are our human assets and that these must be developed as a matter of moral obligation, as well as one of material advantage.
2. To promote a healthy team spirit that is evidenced by good employee attitude, self motivated completion of duty, and pride in a job well done.
3. To reward, encourage progress, inform, train, develop, and properly assign employees in order to attract and keep those who seek a career with the Cooperative in a manner that gives meaning, dignity, satisfaction, and purpose, both on and off the job.
WITH THE PUBLIC
1. To develop understanding, acceptance, and support of the Cooperative's objectives, plans, and programs.
2. To foster and develop the acceptance of the Cooperative as a responsible citizen and as a respected member of the business community.
3. To provide leadership and to cooperate with other community and civic groups in furthering programs of mutual interest.
