Company Profile

Deaf Smith Electric Cooperative is committed to providing excellent service to our customers.
The service area covers most of Deaf Smith, Parmer, and Castro counties, as well as part of
Oldham County in the Texas Panhandle. Deaf Smith's membership resides in the heart of the
cattle feeding industry in Texas. The service area is also the home of the most productive
cropland in the state. Our employees are well versed in meeting the needs of our irrigation and
cattle feeding customers as well as providing for the needs of the many industries and
value-added activities spawned by this vibrant agricultural community.

We Work For You

The Cooperative works to construct facilities to members at the most affordable rates possible.
The ever-increasing costs associated with building new lines are making it more difficult for
members to afford long line extensions. The construction policies adopted by this Cooperative
will do everything possible to keep prices at their lowest.
